In order to keep your brand consistent when creating any visual design assets, a Brand Board is document where you can rely on. It’s a quick resource containing all your brand elements: Logo, variation logo, submark, color pattern, fonts, patterns, social media icons and inspiration images. This is the document where all your brand come together. And please notice, Brand Board is not a Brand Style Guide. They are completely different things.
What we include in our Brand Board:
Main Logo | Variation Logo | Submark | Colour Palette | Fonts | Inspiration Images | Patterns | Social Media Icons
1- Main Logo: This is the main image of your brand. It’s used on the website, stationery, etc.
2- Logo Variation: As the name says it’s a variation from the main logo, with slight differences. Can have a different orientation, color, element or shape.
3- Submark: The submark is a simplified version of the main logo. Can be used as a stamp, icon or watermark and, also look great on stickers, packaging and as signatures! Can have many styles (each case is different) but the round design is the most favorite among clients.
4- Color Palette: These are the colors that make up your brand and coordinate the image identity. Hex codes are also provided so you can easily match with other branding and marketing materials.
5- Fonts: Normally, the font selection is kept to 2 styles (in some cases up to three but no more than that) in order to keep the consistency and cleanliness of the design.
6- Inspiration Images: It helps to simplify the look and feel of your brand.
7- Patterns: It’s a nice extra element that can be used for background, papers, packaging, etc.
8- Social Media Icons: Your brand’s matching social media icons to upload to your website or blog.
